Will you make the fitted furniture on-site?
NO. from our detailed measurements we plan to make 90% in our workshop, we do this to reduce noise, mess and inconvenience to you. We only need to be onsite for the installation
I am planning to decorate and have new carpets, should I do this before or after installation?
We generally advise after for 2 reasons
. We don't fit our installations onto the carpet
.If we are fitting panels tight to a wall we can not guarantee not to mark new paintwork
What colours do you offer?
Our standard colour palette is the Farrow & ball range, 132 colours to choose from, Alternatively, we can have any colour mixed from virtually any paint company, little green, paint and paper library etc or bespoke made if we have a swatch to match
How thick are your doors?
we typically use 27mm thick hardwood framed doors on butt hinges, can vary depending on the range and application
How many door styles are available?
We currently have 8 door styles available for alcove furniture and 17 door styles available for wardrobes
Are your units made to measure?
Yes totally bespoke, made specifically to your home
What finish do you offer?
Our painted parts are usually sprayed the first 3 coats then finished by hand for the final coat
Timber parts are often stained or clear coated using hardwax oils or spray lacquer
What are your carcasses made of?
Our carcasses are usually oak or walnut veneer, or birch ply for paint grade, we really dont like using chipboard
How long does installation take?
We manufacture and paint 90% of the job before it leaves out workshop, just leaving the actual installation. A typical alcove installation takes 1-2 days, kitchens tend to be 4-5 days
Does your Quote include installation?
Yes, we include installation and vat in the costings to give a ‘’all in’’ price.
